Mid-American Sprint Series

The Mid-American Sprint Series is a regional kart racing series, staging a 5 race series at tracks in the upper Midwest. The name of the series drove my design concept, beginning with the same red, white and blue color palette as the American flag. Two stars, signifying the two states the series raced in, splits the sturdy typeface down the middle. Continuing with the American iconography I placed the type treatment inside a bar and shield holding shape and added in some stars and stripes. The stars in the top of the shield represent the 5 races in the series schedule. Finally, the logo of the series title sponsor, Bridgestone, was added to complete the design.
