St. John Lutheran Church & School
St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth, WI was formally incorporated as a congregation in 1859. Five years later the school was founded to provide a Christian education to her members and to the community. When searching for inspiration to create a new identity system for SJL I needed look no further than the architecture of the sanctuary itself. The distinctive shape of the beautiful stained glass windows repeats throughout the building and provided the perfect shape to hold a cross at the center of the logo. Along with the new logo I created a stationary system and illustrated a campus map for use in the school and church. For over 160 years St. John Lutheran Church & School has been bringing the love of Christ to their community and I’m proud to have been able to use the talents God gave me to serve this mission.
